At ARL, we believe that having lots of activities to choose from offers the persons in our programs not only the ability to get out and have fun, but to learn new skills, develop new interests and to meet new people.

  • Spring and Summer Barbeques
  • Camping and Fishing
  • Trips to the Lake
  • Weekly Volunteering at local Animal Shelters
  • Volunteering at the Zoo
  • Weekly Healtherapy
  • Trips to the Farmer’s Market
  • Trips to the Local Water Park
  • Thursdays with “The Notables”

    We also try to stay informed of special events going on in the area throughout the year. That way when a special concert, rodeo or sport event comes along, we can make those opportunities available to anyone who wants to attend.

      OTHER EVENTS WE OFFER
    We are currently the only program in Northern Nevada that offers a regular schedule of the following classes:
  • Sex Ed
  • Social Skills
  • Relationship Skills

    Further, these classes aren’t just open to the people in our programs, but to anyone in the community who wants to attend.
