About ARL
ARL is a company that specializes in the needs of persons who have Developmental Disabilities or who have special
needs due to an accident or the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. Our services range from long-term, 24 hour, in-home
care to as-needed assistance for trips to handle appointments, shopping and recreation.
Many of the people served by our program have what is known as multiple diagnoses. Therefore, they may have a
Developmental Disability in addition to one or more mental illness issues. These situations often create very
challenging behaviors that other providers, institutions and hospitals are not always equipped to address.
ARL has the experience and the training to handle the most challenging of behaviors and at the same time,
to help the person served by our program to redirect themselves to healthier, more productive activities,
resulting in greater integration into the community, which yields far more satisfying lives.
ARL came about as a result of the gap between quality services needed by the Developmentally Disabled, Victims
of Traumatic Brain Injury and the Elderly, versus the quality of services that was often offered to these
populations. Our company has gone to great lengths to put together an elite management team in order to provide
the very best standards, training and services available in the industry today. We currently offer more rigorous
screening and comprehensive staff training than any other competitor in Northern Nevada. In the end, our
attention to detail has produced a service that provides measurable results. The success of each and every
person we serve is our only goal.
